How We Started
Parent Company
Our story starts within the offices of our parent company, GlossyEDGE.com. As business flourished, the workload became reliant on the artists, and there was less for the software developers to do.
Secret Makers
A small team of employees from the Engineering and IT departments started a makers club, where they would create small hobby projects, constantly attempting to outdo eachother.
Discovery by Management
At some point, management found out. Rather than reprimanding them for misusing company time, it was decided to encourage the behavior.
New Company Founded
A new division was established to utilize the club's talent. The plan was to create a public-facing, web and software design company. It would allow software developers and web designers to keep their skills honed, while creating unique and interesting customer solutions. And thus, GlossCREATIONS was born.
